E.J. Dionne Jr. discuses a clear and straight-up point regarding the United States' pollical scandals, on behalf of President Donald Trump’s impeachment. He goes further into expressing what he thinks is a betrayal to the country on behalf of our president. Also, Dionne even goes further into describing two scenarios where the House of representatives should move quickly towards this case and make the right decisions. This should not be tolerated and I agree. This matter should be processed deeply to regain the trust of the country. Dionne mentions how this can also affect political parties especially the Democratic party because for them knowing that the Republican leader has betrayal its house party, and should be punished and stop. This foreshadowing an Impeachment.
will the president of the United States, Donald Trump take this impeachment into his advantage? This is what Dionne fears and to be honest, we as a whole should do as well. A strong personality like the one from our former president believes that there are no limits and consequences when they should be.
This impeachment should take place and be done quickly before the 2020 president re-election, to prevent more shenanigans from happening. and this time with a naked eye of the entire country.
Dionne's ending statement is the following, "Nothing would be worse for our constitutional system than for Congress to sit by timidly in the face of clear evidence of Trump’s desire to again get foreign help in an election and his indifference to the law or any of his presidential responsibilities".
